SUT Design Thinking for Innovation 2026
The Student Entrepreneurship Development Academy (SEDA), Suranaree University of Technology (SUT), hosts SUT Design Thinking for Innovation 2026, an international experiential learning program bringing together students from Suranaree University of Technology (Thailand) and Universitas Negeri Jakarta (Indonesia).
The learning journey begins with an exploration of global sustainability challenges and the connections between food systems and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 2, 3, 12, and 13), by Dr.Nuttavikhom Phanthuwongpakdee
Deputy Director of Research, Centre for SDG Research and Support (SDG Move).
Participants then dive into Understanding People, Contexts, and Food Systems Challenges, exploring the realities, stakeholders, and challenges shaping today’s food and agricultural systems, by Asst. Prof. Dr.Traiphop Phahom, School of Food Technology, Institute of Agricultural Technology
The day continues with The Heart of Human-Centered Design, where students learn to understand people beyond assumptions and uncover the needs, motivations, and experiences behind real-world problems. Through interactive workshops, team-building activities, empathy mapping, and problem exploration, participants begin their Design Thinking journey and discover opportunities to create meaningful and sustainable solutions.
